Xu Huo went to answer the door wearing nothing but a pair of briefs. A beautiful young woman stood outside. Her gaze swept over him, then quickly shifted away. Blushing slightly, she looked at the room number beside the door. "Sorry, I've got the wrong room."
Just then, the door across the hall opened, and a man in a white suit stepped out. "Jiang Jiang, you've gone to the wrong place again."
The young woman laughed softly. After apologizing to Xu Huo once more, she walked across the hall. As she closed the door, she smiled at him.
Ignoring the man's wary, faintly warning look, Xu Huo lingered in the doorway for two seconds.
The woman's fragrance hung in the air in the corridor. It had been hard to notice when they were face-to-face, but now that she was gone, it seemed to drift straight into his nose.
Looking at the door across from him, Xu Huo smiled faintly three seconds later, then closed his door and went back to sleep.
