Chapter 803: Do You Ride Lions? ### Xu Huo applauded.

Yan Jiayu looked up, and her face lit up with delight when she saw him. She stood up, stepping on the Player beneath her, and grinned. "What a coincidence!"

"How about I wait until you're done here?" Xu Huo raised an eyebrow.

Yan Jiayu smiled and nodded, then asked, "Do I need to deal with the ones on your side? I just came out of a Dungeon and got an incredibly powerful item!"

Not giving him a chance to refuse, Yan Jiayu stomped down hard, producing a series of cracking sounds. Then she turned and called, "Big Mao! Get out here and do some work!"

Xu Huo was slightly surprised. Then he saw a stone lion—yes, an actual stone lion—slowly emerge. With every step, its paws scraped against the ground with the distinctive rasp of stone. It moved with the liveliness of a real animal, though its appearance was barely any different from the Stone Carvings placed in front of a gate.

It walked over to Yan Jiayu with a hint of disdain. She held it by the head and petted it a couple of times. Though its carved stone mane was anything but soft, Yan Jiayu didn't mind hurting her hand. Then she pointed ahead. "Big Mao, bring them back!"

Despite its utterly undignified name, Big Mao revealed speed and strength on par with a Mutant Animal as soon as it moved. Its movements were too fast for the naked eye to follow. Xu Huo could only make out a string of face-sized paw prints in the hardened road before Big Mao sent the two Players who had been following him flying into view.
