Xu Huo's gaze darkened. He gave Wan Tingfang a serious look before saying, "Director Sanyang told me there are quite a few important items in the base, and we're not allowed above the fifth floor."

"Weren't there hardly any temporary staff when we arrived?"

"Because they were fired. As for why, it was because they stole confidential information from the base." He shook his head. "Getting fired is the best-case scenario. The worst is being sent to a high-risk dungeon."

"Surely it wouldn't come to that..." Wan Tingfang said. "Isn't the base forbidden from restricting players' freedom?"

"You forgot this is a base established by the Game Government," Xu Huo said. "Since it's nominally a government, there must be corresponding laws and regulations.
