Crossing the River, Then Tearing Down the Bridge

The Black Shoulder Badge had no shortage of people. Even if a few left, plenty more could take their place, so Xu Huo had no way to get around the sensors outside the door.

Just as he was preparing to make a move and cause a commotion, a hubbub broke out inside the courthouse. Within seconds, the signal for the Black Shoulder Badge to change shifts rang through the building. A third of the guards outside immediately split off and entered through different doors.

Unexpectedly, some of them suddenly collapsed and died as they reached the entrance.

Their teammates' sudden deaths stopped the Black Shoulder Badge at the door. Thinking there was an enemy ahead, they used their items first.

But before anything came of that, the White Shoulder Badge members who had been about to go inside retreated without hesitation. "Mr. Werner and Captain Ran are in there. We'd only get in their way!"

Several more Black Shoulder Badge members died in front of everyone. The onlookers panicked and scattered in all directions. In the crush, one of the sensors was knocked out of position. Seizing the moment, Xu Huo slipped into its range and slowly advanced toward the courthouse behind the Black Shoulder Badge.

He encountered no trouble as he made his way deeper into the courthouse. Xu Huo hid in a corner to avoid the Black Shoulder Badge rushing back and forth, and only started moving again once there were fewer people around.

As he had expected, the commotion didn't last long. The Black Shoulder Badge quickly regained control of the situation, though they carried out several members whose minds seemed impaired. After that, court went into recess.

When the Holy Sword Society player came out of the courthouse again and headed for the lounge, his helmet
