George had no intention of disputing Chen Xi's bold claim. In fact, he was generous with his praise.
He had absolute faith in Chen Xi's individual ability.
The longer he played alongside a player like this, the more he understood just how formidable he was.
Although Chen Xi's season high so far was only 55 points, and he had yet to produce the kind of miraculous performance he had delivered in previous seasons, that meant little.
Absolutely no one doubted that he could score 60-plus with ease.
Everyone on the Knicks knew perfectly well that Chen Xi often devoted himself to helping his teammates and creating opportunities for them.
If he really wanted to pile up points, scoring 50-plus in a game might be nothing more than a routine outing for him.
