Yang Ling became the Iron Clothes Department’s first Department Master, survived captivity by Arhat Temple, and entered Fire Cloud Cave in search of its treasures. He found the apparently dead Old Flood Dragon alive and left with ten Fire Spirit Pearls, while the rival factions gathered outside and began exploring the cave.

• Ji Tianming and Zhao De fought at Wuheng Mountain as Yang Ling battled the Divine Guard Office’s Fifth Ranks, until a Heavenly Will Sect Third Rank pierced Ji Tianming with a flying knife.
• Yang Ling rescued the wounded Ji Tianming and fled, but Zhao De explained that Ji Tianming had been a Ministry of War mole and appointed Yang Ling the Iron Clothes Department’s first Department Master.
• Yang Ling earned rewards for the Jingxiao Bandit operation, found and emptied Ji Tianming’s hidden vault, and advanced several martial arts before Nangong Xun questioned him about the missing treasure.
• Shi Tianlong captured Yang Ling for Arhat Temple, where Zong Heng accused him of killing Jiu Xingkong, and Yang Ling convinced the monks to keep him alive by conjuring a daily jin of hundred refined blazing gold.
• After leaving the instance, Yang Ling used the Sky Wolf Battle Armor to capture Shi Jinglong, learned of the Star Sea Fishing Alliance’s plan to search Fire Cloud Cave, and entered the cave disguised as him.
• Yang Ling crossed the magma river with Little White while Zhao State, Rong State, and the Star Sea Fishing Alliance assembled outside and agreed to let their younger fighters settle disputes inside the cave.
• Yang Ling followed the Human-Skin Map through Fire Cloud Cave, evaded a giant fire lizard, and was carried with Little White into a hidden palace where he found the Old Flood Dragon’s remains.
• The Old Flood Dragon opened an eye and gave Yang Ling ten Fire Spirit Pearls, and Yang Ling left with Little White, realized the Old Flood Dragon was alive, and chose not to answer Zhang Wei’s messages about the factions.

Yang Ling reached level 100, survived the Sacred Kirin Martial Way Kindling consuming his qi and blood, and revealed his new strength during conflicts in Fire Cloud Cave. As the Great Dream Dynasty and rival factions contested the island’s inheritance, Yang Ling volunteered to approach the Fire Flood Dragon’s corpse alone.

• Yang Ling reached level 100, then swallowed a Sacred Kirin Martial Way Kindling that began draining his qi and blood as Fire Spirit Pearls raised his level and attributes.
• Yang Ling reached the Old Ancestor and replenished his qi and blood with a Dragon Blood Bodhi, then ate a Thousand-Year Scarlet Blood Dragon Ginseng before the Old Flood Dragon struck him unconscious.
• Yang Ling rescued Zhang Wei’s group from Xie Zhihu and Qin Kunlun’s party, then Divine Domain 2.0 removed the attribute-panel, Free Attribute Point, and continuous-experience bugs.
• Yang Ling claimed the Ironback Thorn Fish King, defeated the Star Sea Fishing Alliance’s expert and Lord Liu, and killed a vast Carnivorous Fire Beetle swarm with Blade Storm.
• Nangong Fengge led Yang Ling and the Zhao princes to the Fire Flood Dragon’s corpse and ordered Yang Ling to gather rare herbs and search for the sect’s inheritance.
• Xie Jinjia and other faction leaders challenged Nangong Fengge’s authority, then negotiated shares of the island’s spoils with her and Li Ting.
• Yang Ling argued that only martial artists with martial way kindling could approach the corpse safely, volunteered to go alone, and rushed toward it as Lu Yunshuang and Yun Buchuan recognized him.

Yang Ling survived Fire Flood Dragon Island’s collapse and political upheaval, then focused on strengthening his Martial Way Kindling and equipment. Guided by Ji Tianming, he found White Bone Cave’s medicinal garden, killed Pan Hui and his men, and claimed its rare herbs.

• Yang Ling gathered rare herbs and scales from the Fire Flood Dragon corpse before Fire Cloud Cave collapsed, then escaped with the others as the corpse was carried out.
• Ji Tianming revealed himself as the Star Sea Fishing Alliance’s Old Ancestor, and Zhao State, the Rong Tribe, and the Alliance began negotiating control of the island and its waters.
• Yang Ling learned that his damaged foundation left him three years to turn his Martial Way Kindling into a furnace, and he began using rare herbs to strengthen it.
• Ji Tianming gave Yang Ling a map to White Bone Cave’s hidden medicinal garden and warned him to keep the garden’s location secret.
• Yang Ling rejected an Immortal God Cult offer and killed its three emissaries, then Ji Tianming infused his armor with Fire Flood Dragon Blood and reforged his weapons.
• Yang Ling swam to the hidden garden, killed a Water King Crab, and found twelve-hundred-year-old herbs, where Pan Hui and Yellow Sea Fishing Village martial artists challenged him.
• Yang Ling killed Pan Hui’s Sixth-Rank followers and defeated Pan Hui, then gathered the garden’s herbs and raised his Sacred Kirin Martial Way Kindling progress to eight out of five hundred.

Yang Ling evolved Little White, destroyed White Bone Cave remnants, and gained a powerful manual before joining the Divine Guard Office. The arc leaves him fighting Mou Sen in the instance after uncovering a possible lead on the White Bone Divine Lord.

• Yang Ling protected Little White from repeated flying-sword attacks until it evolved into a Fire Qilin Lord, then tracked down Zhu Xiu in an underground palace.
• Yang Ling killed Zhu Xiu and Luo Wendao, obtained their martial arts manuals, and learned from the Divine Ape Spirit Body how powerful cultivators could pass on manuals by burning their remains.
• Yang Ling joined the effort to develop a blood essence ore mine as the Zhao State and other factions disputed control of the unprecedented deposit.
• Yang Ling entered the Divine Guard Office instance with Lin Caiyi and trusted companions, where Ji Tianming tasked him with hunting White Bone Cave remnants.
• Yang Ling gave Ji Tianming a map to the White Bone Divine Lord's possible location, triggering an SSS-rank hidden quest, then joined Hu Shuying to investigate Mou Sen at the Great Underworld Temple.
• Mou Sen revealed that Shi Tianlong had poisoned him, overwhelmed Hu Shuying, and fled before returning to attack Yang Ling.
• Yang Ling survived Mou Sen's icy strikes through his blood lock effect, then unleashed repeated Instant Slashes at Mou Sen's neck.
