All in all, the new book is up, and it has been the most agonizing new-book opening I've ever written. During the struggle-filled preparation period, I switched genres three times, writing nearly fifty thousand words for each opening, yet none of them went smoothly. I always felt like I wanted to write everything, but wasn't properly prepared for any of it—not knowing how to begin, nor how to end.
In the end, I decided it was best to return to my original idea: a youthful, passionate, cheerful campus story; a traditional harem adventure; a story of boy meets many girls. By comparison, the new book's structure can also take a semi-episodic form, giving me more freedom.
Of course, I absolutely won't be talking politics in the new book.
Talking politics is far too exhausting, and my own level of learning and cultivation is nowhere near up to par. Writing Stars had already become agonizing by its later stages, so I could only wrap it up hastily.
