They continuously absorbed the streams of light bolts before annihilating them into infinity. Behind the advancing gold-and-red warship, the phantom of a golden-armored god with eight arms holding shields seemed to rise faintly into view.
The red light rushing toward the ancient ship had already transformed into sword energy that cleaved through space. It seemed to gather the entire starry sky within itself, tempering it into an invincible blade. Then, along the blade's flowing path, a bright, deep-blue halo seemed to unfold, as if it had formed wings from the flares of blue stars.
How could that be sword light? It was clearly a black bird standing proudly in the air.
