It didn't seem particularly fast, yet it lightly and deftly dodged the concentrated beam fire. Even the finest ace pilot flying a top-of-the-line fighter would have struggled to pull off such maneuvers, let alone a shell or missile.
And so, wrapped around the orbital cannon shell, the mythical bird slammed violently into one side of the ancient ship.
