Lu Yin soon received another call from Wang Wen.
"I still think we should release Uncle Hua and the others. Now isn't the time to get tangled up with the Qiuhan Family," Wang Wen said.
Lu Yin's eyes flickered. "Cang Zhou isn't saying anything. The Inner Universe will find out sooner or later that something happened to Chaos God Mountain, but they might not know we're involved. Right?"
Wang Wen's eyes lit up. "You want to use the Qiuhan Family to divert attention?"
"Would it work?" Lu Yin asked.
Wang Wen thought it over. "It's dangerous. We could use the Qiuhan Family to divert attention, but they might suppress us—or even wipe us out. The Sixth Continent is no match for the Inner Universe."
"I can make the Sixth Continent wary of us. One Qiuhan Family isn't enough to destroy the Eastern Frontier Alliance," Lu Yin said.
"This won't buy us much time." Wang Wen clearly wasn't in favor of it. Fighting the Qiuhan Family to hide the fact that they controlled Chaos God Mountain would cost the Eastern Frontier Alliance dearly, even if the various powers of the Inner Universe didn't suspect them. Besides, no matter who was responsible for what happened to Chaos God Mountain, those powers would be on guard. The only difference was that they wouldn't focus solely on the Eastern Frontier Alliance.
They would lose more than they stood to gain. It was a poor strategy.
"Buy us some time first, then think it over," Lu Yin said.
Wang Wen ended the call. He hadn't expected the Qiuhan Family to come knocking at a time like this. What a headache.
Even if the Eight Great Flowing Realms had some sort of secret channel of communication and an agreement between them, they couldn't contact one another
