Lu Yin didn't know how to explain it to Wang Wen. "I'll take you to Boundary Mountain sometime so you can meet her. She's been pretty good to me."
"Zi Jing replaced Zheng Night King, and Yang Ji, the master of Light Great World, replaced Cong Ying. They're both from Boundary Mountain," Wang Wen said.
Lu Yin knew what he meant. On the surface, the Hall of Glory was run by its council, with the Interstellar Arbitration Court acting as its enforcer. But the one truly in charge was Elder Chan. He was trying to bring the council's power under Boundary Mountain.
It might have been a warning, though not necessarily one aimed at Lu Yin. Otherwise, the people removed wouldn't have been limited to Zheng Night King; Immortal Old Man and San Liang would have been removed as well. Someone at Elder Chan's level probably didn't care much about such things.
"Yang Ji represents Light Great World, one of the Three Thousand Great Worlds. Making him a council member was probably meant to maintain balance. As for Zi Jing, she must have control over the entire universe's network. The network's importance speaks for itself," Wang Wen mused.
Lu Yin fell into thought. When he'd met Zi Jing in Starlink Great World, he'd asked why the entire human network had to be connected through Shui Chuanxiao. Zi Jing hadn't answered then; there hadn't been enough time, and Lu Yin had forgotten about the question. Now that he'd remembered, perhaps Shui Chuanxiao could tell him the answer.
After ending his call with Wang Wen, Lu Yin found Shui Chuanxiao and brought up Zi Jing.
"Zi Jing? The owner of the Starlink Network? She did come to me back then and talk about connecting the network for all of humanity," Shui Chuanxiao
