The tree itself could wait, but Little Sapling was important. He had to bring it back, or King Ye might find it and cause trouble.

Lu Yin had no idea that King Ye was already in the Biliu Flow Realm, keeping an eye on the tree and Little Sapling. He had been watching them for some time.

The Three Leaf Clover Company's intelligence network in the Inner Universe was even more extensive than that of the Eastern Frontier Alliance, which had only recently arrived. King Ye had learned of the tree and Little Sapling's whereabouts a month earlier, but he hadn't dared make a move.
