Lu Yin knew he was joking and only wanted to probe Mr. Mu's identity, but Qing Ping was completely serious. "You're not qualified."
Kui Luo froze and blinked. "Me? I'm a Semi-Progenitor, and there's a good chance I'll break through to Progenitor. You're saying I'm not qualified to become his disciple?"
Qing Ping nodded. "You're not qualified. Our sect only accepts prodigies."
Kui Luo sneered. "I'm not qualified? I'm a Semi-Progenitor, someone who can break through to Progenitor."

Kui Luo was quite impressive among Semi-Progenitors. He could almost stand level with a Gate Master, but that wasn't enough—not nearly enough. Their sect wanted monsters, legends in the eyes of ordinary people. Kui Luo fell short, and he could never measure up.
Kui Luo was annoyed at being underestimated. "Kid, tell him how formidable my Essence, Qi, and Spirit are, and how powerful my Inner World is."
Qing Ping withdrew his gaze. "The minimum requirement to join our sect is to fight a Semi-Progenitor as an Astral Envoy, and to fight a Progenitor as a Semi-Progenitor."
Elder Gong and the others were once again stunned. There were two people in the current Fifth Continent who could fight Semi-Progenitors as Astral Envoys: Qing Ping, right before them, and Tiandou, Chief of the Deathworld Race. It was an immensely impressive feat. Though they were amazed, it wasn't necessarily beyond anyone else's reach. But for a Semi-Progenitor to fight a Progenitor—that seemed impossible.
Forget them. Which of the
