Two more people attacked in the direction he was escaping. They were only at the Enlightenment Realm, but both carried extraordinary treasures. Together, they tried to seal off the area.
They couldn't attack Blue Ghost while he was in the Star Source Universe, but their treasures could still affect him.
The old man's gaze sharpened. "You still dare to resist?" As he spoke, the flames spread wildly, covering the sky. A purple-gold Phoenix cried out as an endless sea of fire descended. It didn't burn the Star Source Universe, only the empty space around it, but its heat was so intense that Blue Ghost couldn't endure it. He was forced to appear, coughing up blood as the flames scorched it.
The onlookers backed away.
"The Purple Gold Family has been after that guy for a long time. He crippled quite a few disciples from various family powers back then, including some from the Purple Gold Family."
