A war was out of the question, and if there was no war, the Divine Martial Heaven could simply claim that it had forgotten. There were plenty of excuses.

He put away the Wireless Gu and turned to Lu Xun. "Where is the Heavenly Vault?"
Lu Xun was surprised. "The Heavenly Vault?"
Lu Yin nodded.
Lu Xun studied Lu Yin intently for a long while. "Some of what I know about you, Young Master, came from Xia Xing, and some came from the person just now. May I ask you to confirm a few things?"
"Of course," Lu Yin said. "You can ask anyone you like. I can also take you to the Fifth Continent—the place you know as the Abandoned Land."
"No need. Just give me a Cloud Communication Stone that can contact the Unbounded," Lu Xun said.
She didn't dare trust what she was seeing and hearing, especially since Lu Yin had asked about the Heavenly Vault as soon as he heard her story. She couldn't help but worry.
Lu Yin was just as surprised by her request. "A Cloud Communication Stone that can contact the Unbounded? Are you in contact with them?"
"Our people are hidden within the Unbounded. They're trying to locate its headquarters so we can wipe out that scourge in one fell swoop," Lu Xun replied.
Lu Yin chuckled. "Then you'll be disappointed. The Unbounded has already been destroyed."
Lu Xun was confused. "The Unbounded is gone?"
Lu Yin briefly explained what had happened to the Unbounded.
