"What is that?" someone cried in alarm.
Lu Yin's expression turned grave. The Blood Lotus gave him an intense sense of danger, no weaker than the danger Shang Rong had posed.
The fatty went deathly pale. "What the hell is that thing?"
The space inside the cauldron was vast. The others had been exploring separately, but now everyone looked up, staring at the Blood Lotus. It was clearly man-made.
The Blood Lotus bloomed, beautiful and deadly.
Before long, a figure appeared within the lotus. It was Blood Madman, the same man who had appeared inside the Divine Armor Gate.
Blood Madman hung upside down from the Blood Lotus. A sinister smile played on his lips as he looked down at everyone inside the cauldron. His pupils had already been somewhat red, but now they were even redder.
"Who are you? Why have you sealed the mouth of the cauldron and started killing people at will?" someone demanded.
Blood Madman's smile widened. "Let's play a game."
Everyone stared at him strangely. A game? Was he insane? Who played games at a time like this?
"I have a die here. I'll roll it, and whatever number comes up will be the number of people who get to leave this cauldron alive." Blood Madman spoke slowly, his voice cold and eerie.
"Are you from the Fifth Continent?" someone shouted.
Blood Madman laughed wildly. "Guess all you want. Maybe I am, maybe I'm not. The game starts now." As he spoke, a die appeared in his hand. He tossed it casually, and everyone watched as it fell to the ground. It landed with three facing up.
"Three? Not bad. Three of you get to leave alive." Blood Madman's voice was chilling. As he spoke, the Blood Lotus turned an ever deeper, ghastly red.
