He had originally intended to maintain the area, but under the current circumstances, he could only turn the locally conscripted soldiers into local security forces.

"No rush, no rush. I'm thinking whether it's better to settle this with a one-on-one duel or break their vertical alliance with a horizontal one."
Lia spoke belatedly. "So the church and humanity are already in such danger. So many countries in the Central Lands are actually supporting the vampires."
Lynn opened his eyes and looked up at the ceiling, his tone leisurely and teasing. "That's what happens when you mess around with immigration. If you're going to bring in immigrants, at least bring in the Dragon Race or Elves. Why bring in Half-Orcs or the Demon Race?"

"Make distant allies and attack nearby enemies. They've surrounded me, so I'll surround them in turn." Lynn got up from his chair, snatched a flag, and planted it in the South Grand Duke's territory. "A horizontal alliance."
"Break the encirclement."
"But we still have to win first."
