So what if they were corrupted?
If one person got corrupted, another would suffer. At most, people would sigh over how pitiful it was.
Then add: "Go on, my lord, and do not look back. Your children will find the old road themselves."
A hero who had simply been thrust into the spotlight would naturally become a target.
They could attack the hero's state of mind, target the hero's lover, morally blackmail the hero, make the people the hero protected betray him, ruin his reputation and make everyone hate him, or do disgusting things just to disgust him.

But what if—what if there were no savior complex?
What if people didn't expect the Messiah to arrive?
Instead, what if they spread an idea, trying to shape everyone into a hero? What then?
You'd never know when some country boy from a mountain village might turn out to be a Man of Destiny.

But what if someone wanted millions upon millions of ordinary people to be brave?
What if everyone received the education of a saint, and was taught how bright and beautiful the world ought to be, how to give and sacrifice, and how to do things for everyone's sake?
It would be so that everyone could be a hero.
