The Succubus Queen wasn't leaving, and that had these loyal Guard Army knights all fired up.
They pushed through the Half-Orcs' layers of resistance and began attacking the Demon Race's command headquarters from the flank.
The Heavy Cavalry had no trouble riding around the perimeter.
"Are those tentacles?" one knight asked in surprise. "I haven't seen anything like this in years."
"Careful, Hangis!" Another knight hurled his industrial creation—a Heavy Cavalry Spear made with steel at its core, relying on sheer force to get the job done.
It wasn't very flexible, but at least it wouldn't break from being used to skewer several targets in a row.
At that moment, the Heavy Cavalry Spear turned into a giant, five-meter-long Javelin and sliced through the air toward the attacking tentacle.
Whoosh!
The tentacle was severed, spraying purple blood everywhere.
"These tentacles can regenerate endlessly. When they reach for you, they can hit harder than your own fists!"
A knight with experience fighting tentacles shouted to the others.
"Damn it, there are too many of these things. We can't cut them all down."
"Watch out, they're going to shoot at us. Looks like they're using magic."

They were as thick as a grown man, and seemed capable of stretching a very long way.
