"Harley!"
Li Ang called out again, startling Harley Quinn awake.
"Ah!"
"I'm fine, really. I went to the Iceberg Lounge every day, and I absolutely did not sleep with Ivy. I didn't wake up next to her every morning, either..."
Harley Quinn had just blurted out a confession.
"..."
Silence fell. Li Ang had also heard the commotion in the room.
He opened the door and saw Poison Ivy Pamela putting on her boots.
Li Ang turned to look at Harley Quinn, unsure what to say.
"Ivy and I are just good friends..."
Harley Quinn said quietly.
"It looks like I came back at the wrong time."
Li Ang felt conflicted.
"No, you came back at exactly the right time."
Poison Ivy hadn't given it much thought. She simply pulled Li Ang and Harley inside.
The door closed firmly.
"I really did come back at the right time."
A little over an hour later, Li Ang had come to terms with it.
If it had only been Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy Pamela, he would have felt upset.
But now he'd joined them, too.
This was great!
"I'm a good person. I couldn't bear to break up you two best friends,"
Li Ang declared righteously.
Then the two of them threw him out.
Li Ang carefully went to wash up, then began praying to every god he could think of.
After praying to them all, he chose to make his draws while still under the shower.
"I'll draw Kara first!"
Kara was his goddaughter, and she was a Kryptonian, so Li Ang was eager to see what he'd get.
