Iceberg Lounge.
Compared to when it first opened, the Iceberg Lounge now had two floors.
After the renovations, the first floor had become a place purely for entertainment, while the Second Floor had become a bar.
The beautiful dealers and the maids weaving through the crowd all wore their respective uniforms, inspiring the guests to eagerly splash their cash around.
Upstairs, though, things were completely different.
Dancers who looked like celebrities swayed onstage, showing off their graceful figures, while the crowd below raised their glasses and mingled. A group of people in suits, dressed like executives, were socializing.
"Who are they?"
In a corner, Li Ang admired his club as he asked Frank, who was drinking with him.
Frank was still the same person, but his status had changed.
Frank felt a little emotional, too. No one had expected Li Ang to change so much.
He'd heard that Penguin Cobblepot was so furious in the asylum that he'd practically gone mad.
After all, Penguin had worked so hard to build the club and finally make a name for it, only for someone else to take it away.
And that someone was once his underling...
With the Iceberg Lounge so famous, Li Ang naturally wasn't going to do anything reckless. Sometimes, the best change was no change at all.
After all, there was no need to mess around with a hen that laid golden eggs.
America had its own special circumstances.
Frank had grown more respectful toward Li Ang. That was what a change in status did.
"These are all close aides of the new mayor. They've just arrived in Gotham."
Frank's answer surprised Li Ang. "New mayor? Isn't it still years before the next election?"
"It was the result of a recall election."
Frank explained what a recall election was.
