The Sanctum wasn't very tall, but all the buildings around it were skyscrapers.
And as long as they stood within the Sanctum's grounds, no one else could see them.

Gwen had changed into her Ghost-Spider-Man suit, and the funny thing was, she still had a backpack on. It was obviously full of things she'd need.

After they called out to her, Gwen finally spotted them.
Kara had changed into ordinary clothes, but Gwen was still certain she was Supergirl.
After all, the people there matched what Kara had told her.

When she landed safely, Ciri and Rachel said enviously, "That's so cool! Can you take us for a ride?"
When they'd read comics before, they'd imagined what it would feel like to swing around like Spider-Man.

They were all characters she'd seen before, and she was delighted.
She thought it was all incredibly cool.
Because of her personality, she didn't have many friends at school. She'd started a band with the few girls she was close to, but even they didn't get along all that well.
