In another Mirror Dimension, Diana watched the crowds walking below. In an instant, she and Faora found themselves atop a skyscraper.
If a mage of Zatanna's caliber were here, she would certainly try to figure out how the spell worked right away.
But clearly... these two women were both magic idiots.
Even if Diana wanted to understand it, there was no one to teach her.
She had plenty of divine artifacts on her, all of them enchanted, but she didn't understand any of it herself.
Faora was even less likely to know.
Magic? To a Kryptonian, what was that?
"Diana."
Diana quickly looked at Faora and said her name.
"Faora."
Faora gave her own name, too.
"You're worthy of being my opponent."
"Of course."
Diana smiled. "I have a lot I want to say, but I can say it after I beat you."
She held the Divine Shield in front of her, barely able to contain herself.
"Likewise."
Faora stood tall and proud, then vanished from where she stood.
She hadn't flown. She had simply moved so fast that she'd reached the limit.
Like a bolt of lightning, she left behind only a sonic boom.
BOOM!
In an instant, she appeared right in front of Diana.
Wonder Woman narrowed her eyes and immediately raised the Divine Shield to block Faora's punch.
BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM!
In a single second, Faora landed countless punches, all of them slamming into the Divine Shield.
Faora didn't have much Solar Energy inside her yet, but she had been born with knowledge of combat. Her instincts alone were enough to overwhelm ordinary Metahumans.
That was the greatest thing her genes had given her.
The general's genes had taught her from birth how to fight, how to engage in hand-to-hand combat, and how to command soldiers.
