"You finally decided to come find me."
Death looked somewhat aggrieved, yet delighted.
"I've always wanted to come, but some pervert stopped me."
Deadpool complained.
"Heehee."
Death giggled. "You're still so humorous and entertaining."
Perhaps only Death would consider Deadpool's vicious tongue humorous.
After all, everyone else wished they could strangle him.
Li Ang was also certain that this Death was a real seductress.
She boldly displayed her figure, trying to tempt the two of them.
If no one said anything, nobody would have believed she was the Death Goddess.
Deadpool immediately started bantering with her.
His complaints always made Death giggle nonstop.
Then Deadpool said, "Lady Death, we came this time to ask you for a favor."
"I know."
Death suddenly changed her expression, becoming incomparably stern. Skull-like patterns even flashed across her face.
To ordinary people, she was practically omniscient and omnipotent. Naturally, there were certain beings above her whom she didn't know about.
She had clearly known the purpose of Li Ang and Deadpool's visit long ago.
Deadpool immediately laughed. "I knew it. How could there be anything in this world you don't know? Just like when you revived Spider-Man last time."
The Death Goddess smiled faintly and slowly returned to her throne.
She flirtatiously lifted the chin of the Messenger standing to one side with a finger and said, "Emma, you're an enviable woman. Someone really did come to save you."
The Messenger raised her head, pulled back her black hood, and revealed Emma Frost's short golden hair and cold, stern face.
Emma Frost looked at Li Ang, her eyes filled with emotion.
Seeing this, Li Ang and Deadpool understood that Death had made preparations long ago.
It felt as though someone had taken control of the plot.
Not only Li Ang—even Deadpool hated this feeling.
