Rachel's adoptive mother must have used it. Gotham's simple, wholesome folkways meant almost everyone had a gun at home.
That way, when the shooting started, they wouldn't be caught at a disadvantage.
A trail of blood led across the ground to Rachel's adoptive mother's body.
"She was shot at the entrance, crawled all the way out, and then died from blood loss."
"Rachel must have been kidnapped, and her adoptive mother was so badly wounded she had to crawl out after her."
Li Ang checked the direction she had crawled and soon found another spot of blood in the grass.
An ordinary person might have had trouble spotting it, but his super physique had heightened his senses.
He could not only see the blood, but also catch the sharp scent of it.
"She fired a shot, and hit one of them!"
