Chapter Summaries

Li Ang learned that the Holy Mother intended to reclaim her Universe or destroy it, then slipped away while Lucifer took her to rest. After visiting Kamar-Taj and meeting Doctor Strange, Li Ang headed to Asgard to investigate reports of unrest but found it magically sealed.

• Li Ang and Lucifer worried about the Supreme God's omniscience, while the Holy Mother declared that she would reclaim the Universe or destroy it.
• Lucifer arranged clothes and a place to stay for the Holy Mother, giving Li Ang a chance to slip away.
• At Kamar-Taj, Li Ang met Doctor Strange, whom Master Gu Yi was training to become Sorcerer Supreme.
• Master Gu Yi told Li Ang that things had been unsettled in Asgard, so he went to investigate.
• Li Ang found Asgard sealed against Teleportation Magic and flew upward to approach it.

Li Ang arrived in Asgard and learned from Frigga that Karnilla and Nornheim had gone to war with the Asgardian Palace after Loki’s failed attempt to seize it. Thor’s hastily assembled forces were locked in a stalemate with Nornheim’s army.

• Li Ang reached Asgard and found its spaceport deserted and Heimdall absent from the Bifrost.
