The Starfall Empire Governor, one of the empire's most important high-ranking experts, was forced to self-destruct to escape the Blue Star battlefield. His quantum core was lost in space, while surviving Starfall forces fled and began searching for it to avoid imperial punishment. 349 350

The defeat caused an empire-wide uproar. The Starfall Great Emperor convened the Noble Council, where the War Faction demanded a renewed conquest while the Peace Faction urged caution and equal treatment of Blue Star's powerful defenders. 350

Intelligence Gathering and Shift Toward Peace

Starfall intelligence personnel infiltrated Blue Star disguised as ordinary alien visitors. After witnessing the Investiture of the Gods and other Central Continent methods, the team concluded that another war could produce unimaginable losses. 360 380

The Peace Faction gained influence after the Governor's Imaginary Number Core was recovered but required centuries of recovery. The Starfall Great Emperor subsequently approved peace negotiations and invited a top Blue Star Golden Immortal to Starfall territory. 399

The Starfall Royal Family dispatched a diplomatic fleet to Blue Star, its first such foreign-relations mission in nearly five hundred years. Other Level Seven Civilizations were alarmed by the empire's unexpected decision to negotiate with the world it had recently invaded. 400

The empire's diplomatic representatives attempted to use wording in the peace agreement to require a Central Continent Golden Immortal to personally travel to Starfall before compensation would be delivered. The maneuver instead gave Blue Star a legitimate basis to send Main Body Gu Chen—an Emperor-level Golden Immortal—to the empire's starfield. 419 421
