Xiao Bing entered the Imperial Palace seeking better treatment, but years of service transformed that practical beginning into genuine loyalty to Ye Qinglian. She has served the Empress since childhood and became one of the people Ye Qinglian trusts most. 7 262

During Chu Ning's arrival in the palace, Xiao Bing initially doubts his claims of being a hidden master. Nevertheless, she recognizes his attentiveness toward Ye Qinglian, shares the Empress's preferences and habits with him, and deliberately creates opportunities for their relationship to develop. 7 18 48

Her cultivation begins accelerating alongside Ye Qinglian's.
