Nohara Rin: Obito is a Good Person

"That's it? So fast!"

"When did Shinji awaken the Sharingan?!"

"Obito got taken out in an instant."

Asuma stared at the result in the field, unable to believe it as he muttered under his breath.

Watching Shinji help Obito off the field, he inexplicably felt a sense of pressure rising within him.

"It's only been a few days, and Shinji has already become this strong?"

"If I went up against Shinji, I should be able to win, right?"

Remembering how certain Rin had been that Shinji would win, Kurenai leaned closer and softly asked, "Rin, did you already know Shinji had awakened his Sharingan?"

The image of holding hands with Shinji yesterday instantly flashed through Nohara Rin's mind, and her cheeks uncontrollably flushed red.

Thinking that Shinji had awakened his eyes because of her, Rin awkwardly tucked her hair behind her ear, trying to conceal the unease on her face.

"Obito's fine. He'll be alright after resting for a while."

He raised a hand to stroke his chin, preparing to summon the System Panel and check the shop.

Just then, Kurenai Yuhi walked over and gently sat down on his right.

"Hm? Kurenai, do you need something?"

Shinji paused slightly before turning his head to ask.

Kurenai Yuhi couldn't help looking him up and down. Her ruby-like eyes blinked, a hint of mischief glinting within them.

She leaned a little closer to Shinji and lowered her voice. "Shinji, could you do me a favor later?"

As she spoke, she too instinctively leaned a little closer to Shinji.

For a moment, Shinji found himself flanked by two beautiful girls, and the atmosphere immediately became somewhat subtle.

In truth, she had just finished lecturing Obito when she spotted the two of them huddled together in quiet conversation from afar. An inexplicable restlessness rose in her heart, and she had somehow found herself walking over and sitting down beside them.

Shinji turned around and saw that it was Obito. He thought to himself:

At that moment, all color drained from Obito's face. Even beneath the blazing sun, he seemed to have had every trace of vitality sucked out of him, as if he would collapse to the ground at any second.

His eyes were vacant as he unconsciously murmured, "Younger brother?"
