Kenma laughed inwardly without showing it, casually gesturing toward the empty ground before him.

"Don't stand on ceremony. Sit wherever you like."

The only table and chairs on the entire Hill of the Executioners were the set Kenma was using. There was nowhere for him to sit.
Nor did any of the guards nearby move to fetch him a chair.

"So you're saying there's no place for me at your side anymore."
Once a person no longer had a place, there was no reason for them to continue existing.
