"Special Gigai?"
"What kind of special features did you want?"
Kisuke Urahara and Mayuri Kurotsuchi both looked puzzled.
Though Shinigami bore the name of gods, in essence, they were merely souls with immense power.
In the Human World, living beings could not see Shinigami.
A Gigai was a tool Shinigami used to blend into the world of the living when they came to the Human World.
Once a Shinigami wore a Gigai, ordinary people could see them, allowing them to interact with the living beings of the Human World.
Kenma stated the requirements he had long considered.
"The current Gigai are too large and inconvenient to carry around, so I want portable Gigai. Ideally, they should fit directly into a pocket and be taken out whenever needed."
Kisuke Urahara nodded. "That's simple. We only need to reduce the number of Protons to achieve the desired size."
The Protons he referred to were the smallest observable units of matter that made up all substances in the Human World.
Meanwhile, the smallest units composing all matter in the Soul Society were Reishi.
Kenma added, "Besides that, after wearing the Gigai, I need to be able to maintain stable strength—preferably my full strength."
"That's impossible!"
Mayuri Kurotsuchi's slightly hoarse voice rang out.
"A Gigai is meant to serve as a substitute body for a Shinigami in the Human World. Once a Shinigami uses a substantial amount of power, it will inevitably affect a great deal of Reishi. The Gigai would be utterly destroyed."
Kenma said nothing and instead looked at Kisuke Urahara.
After a brief silence, Kisuke Urahara slowly said, "If you don't care about the Gigai being damaged... then changing the way it is constructed could make that possible."
"However, that would make the Gigai a disposable item. One would be ruined
