After a moment, he casually set the Chakra Armor down.
"I have to say, Kazahana Dōtō gave me an unexpected prize. I thought he was just a fool who couldn't even handle a few genin, but to think he could develop such intricate Chakra Armor."
Uchiha Yuan's voice broke the silence in the great hall.
The Chakra Armor was naturally of no use to Uchiha Yuan himself, but it was a piece of equipment that could greatly strengthen the Navy.
Then Uchiha Yuan turned his gaze toward Kazahana Koyuki.
"Who are you, and what do you intend to do here in our Land of Snow?"
Although intimidated by Uchiha Yuan's presence, Asama Sandayu still mustered the courage to ask.
"Kazahana Koyuki, daughter of Kazahana Sōsetsu, the former king of the Land of Snow."
After a pause, Uchiha Yuan continued, "This is our first meeting. There's no need to be afraid. We won't hurt you."
Hearing this, Asama Sandayu and Kazahana Koyuki felt somewhat reassured.
It was not that they trusted others so readily, but that they were completely at his mercy. If Uchiha Yuan meant them harm, he could simply act; there was no need to deceive them.
Yet his next words made their hearts clench.
"From now on, the Land of Snow will be under our control.
However, you can still stay here as the princess of the Land of Snow, or continue being the movie star Fujikaze Yukie."
Asama Sandayu's eyes widened in anger at Uchiha Yuan's words.
But when he met Uchiha Yuan's deep gaze, the anger in his heart was doused as though by a bucket of ice water, extinguished in an instant.
