"Sasuke-kun, you must stay away from that girl from Kusagakure.
She must have ulterior motives toward you.
She's a shameless woman. She actually confessed to you the very first time you met."
Sakura kept nagging Sasuke as they walked.
Naruto followed behind them, looking rather forlorn.
"Naruto, that Karin Uzumaki girl should be a member of your mother's clan, right?"
Sasuke suddenly turned to Naruto.
Naruto's eyes lit up. "Sasuke, you knew my mom?"
"I only heard Mom mention her once. Your mother had vivid red hair.
That's all I know about her."
Sasuke said.
"So Mom had red hair too."
Naruto murmured, then let his gaze settle on Sakura's pink hair.
A burst of hurried footsteps rang out, and a squad from the Police Force swept across a nearby rooftop.
"Daishi, what happened?"
Seeing them, Sasuke called out.
One figure stopped. It was Uchiha Daishi.
"Oh, Sasuke. Some people from Sunagakure got into a confrontation with the Marines."
With that, Uchiha Daishi vanished in a flash.
"Let's go take a look too."
Sasuke said, then gave chase in the direction Uchiha Daishi had gone.
When Sasuke and the other two reached an open space near the Hokage Building, the first thing they saw was four people wearing white capes with the word "Justice" emblazoned across them.
Were these the Marines their teacher had been stationed at the southern border to guard against?
Sasuke wondered as he studied the four of them.
Facing the four Marines were three Sand shinobi: two boys and a girl.
Sasuke recognized them as Temari, Kankuro, and Shira, Sunagakure's participants in the Chunin Ninja Exams.
Of all the delegations that had come to Konoha for the Chunin Ninja Exams, Sunagakure's was the largest. Even the Fourth Kazekage had come in person.
"Gaara, have you been
