The next instant, Sasuke shot forward like a cannonball; in the blink of an eye, he was right in front of Orochimaru.

A heavy impact rang out as Sasuke landed a powerful roundhouse kick on Orochimaru.
Orochimaru flew backward like a rag doll.
Sasuke kicked off with both feet in midair, and the air exploded beneath them.
Orochimaru's vision blurred, and Sasuke appeared above him.
Sasuke clasped his fists together and brought them down like a sledgehammer.
The instant the blow struck, Orochimaru doubled over like a shrimp, then slammed into the ground.

A huge crater appeared before everyone's eyes.

An enormous fireball flew into the crater, then exploded with a deafening roar.

Hope appeared on Sakura's face.

Naruto stared at Sasuke in astonishment.

Sasuke's chest heaved as he gasped for breath. His eyes remained fixed on the churning flames.
The flames soon died out, revealing a charred body in the crater.
"Great! Sasuke-kun, you got him!"
Sakura cried excitedly at the sight.
Sasuke relaxed as well.
But just then, the charred body's mouth suddenly opened wide; a moment later, a soaking-wet Orochimaru crawled out of it.
"What an unexpected performance. Sasuke-kun, you're even more impressive than I anticipated."
Orochimaru stared at Sasuke with burning eyes.
The next second, he formed hand seals and slammed his hands onto the ground.
