Transformation and Combat Form

The Adamantine Staff is Enma's transformed state, functioning as Hiruzen Sarutobi's close-combat weapon. Despite its staff form, Enma can revert at will and remains an active combatant. 337 340 384

Extension and Shape Manipulation

The staff can extend across long distances, retract rapidly, and alter its structure in combat.

Adamantine Prison Wall

• During the Nine-Tails' attack on Konoha, Enma transformed into the Adamantine Staff and helped repel the beast, striking its head and forcing it backward. 2 3
• Hiruzen wielded the staff against Uchiha Yuan during the Illumination Society's intrusion into Konoha. The staff landed a heavy blow on Yuan and engaged his earth dragon, but was knocked away and reverted to Enma. 337 340
• Enma intervened to block Uchiha Yuan's crimson blade when it threatened Danzo, sustaining a severe burn from the weapon's heat. 384
• During the later confrontation with the Flame Demon, the Adamantine Staff repeatedly blocked Yuan's attacks and formed the Adamantine Prison Wall before Yuan destroyed the cage from within. 388 389
