After doing something bad, Jiang Zhaosu escaped from Qi Xing's arms.
Whenever Qi Xing slept, Jiang Zhaosu got bored, so she simply wandered around Hurricane Base.
Jiang Zhaosu started by going into the houses one by one, searching for anything good.
Some houses really did contain quite a lot of gold, silver, and jewelry, and Jiang Zhaosu hurriedly stuffed them into her pockets.
Even after filling both pockets, she still felt it wasn't enough. She began to dislike how small her pockets were and decided she needed clothes with bigger, more numerous pockets, so she started rummaging through people's wardrobes.
But she was short and skinny, so it was hard to find clothes that fit her.
After a great deal of effort, she found a coat that met her requirements. On Jiang Zhaosu, it looked like a sack and could swallow her whole.
After searching several houses, Jiang Zhaosu finally found clothes she was satisfied with.
Just as she wanted to take the gold, silver, and jewelry from her pockets and put them inside, she touched her pockets and realized that she had been trying on clothes while walking around and had dropped all the jewelry back at the first house!
She ran back and forth all night.
Dawn was nearly here, yet Qi Xing still hadn't woken up.
Jiang Zhaosu tossed everything into the car, then went off to explore elsewhere to see whether she might get lucky and find someone to eat.
But Hurricane Base was like a ghost zone. Jiang Zhaosu ran around for most of the day without finding a single person, only encountering a few zombies missing arms or legs, swaying as they walked.
These zombies had probably escaped death because of their disabilities; yesterday, the Mutated Species had not summoned them over in time.
