Background / History

Liang Yin operated Liangyin Music Shop when Lin Chudong arrived seeking work as a guitar teacher. Initially skeptical of his appearance and cheap guitar case, she hired him after he taught a child to play and sing “Walk with Me Through the Streets of Chengdu” in ten minutes. 3

When Lin Chudong explained his plan to teach at the shop, find an investor, form a band, and become his own boss, Liang Yin immediately offered her shop’s instruments and backing. The resulting group was named the Liang Yin Band. 4 7
