Background / History

After their parents divorced, the sisters’ father stopped visiting them. Their mother subsequently remarried and abandoned them as well. Tang Xun and Tang Yao consequently live together without parental support, sharing a small bedroom furnished with bunk beds and a single computer desk 4.

While Tang Yao works as a manga editor, Tang Xun attends school and handles much of their domestic routine. Financial pressure makes her concerned about the burden on her sister; Tang Yao refuses to let that concern turn into a discussion about leaving school 4 6.
