If one were to classify Void creatures, it would be found that their varieties could only be described as a tangled mess.

Even now, as Void creatures have gradually adapted to Runeterra and their forms have stabilized, group mutations and evolutions still occur frequently, with the appearance of many Void creatures changing drastically every few days.

However, among these extremely unstable Void creatures, one group is very special. For the past few hundred years, they have maintained a stable form and social structure, even integrating to a certain extent into Runeterra's biosphere. This type of Void creature is the void burrower that lives in Khar'sai.

Void burrowers, as their name suggests, are a group of Void creatures skilled at burrowing underground. In appearance, their forms resemble quadrupedal animals, but in habit, they are remarkably similar to beetles that live underground.

As is widely known, most Void creatures inherit the Void's insatiable hunger. They always crave to devour and evolve. Within such a group, void burrowers that can peacefully dig in the earth, accumulating their initial evolutionary wealth by feeding on underground beetles and reptiles, can truly be considered outliers.

Yet, it is precisely this group of undeniable outliers that, while other Void creatures were being systematically purged by the people of Shurima and gradually driven to extinction, managed to evade the catastrophe and carve out their own kingdom beneath Khar'sai.

Generation after generation, they dug, constructing complex underground tunnels at depths exceeding a thousand feet, and have lived there for generations. These underground tunnels have also made the underground ecosystem of the Khar'sai region exceptionally complex. Various arthropods and reptiles, unable to adapt to the surface environment, have flocked underground to reproduce, and in turn, have become a large-scale food source for the void burrowers, forming a delicate, almost farmed
