The elite agents, clad in Kevlar riot armor and fully equipped with rifles, tactical vests stuffed with gear, and Bear Shield insignias, poured out of the vehicles. They spread out and sealed off the woods along the road, enclosing an area roughly a mile in diameter.

The headlights of countless black SUVs blazed on high beam, illuminating the forest, which still looked pitch-black beneath the silvery moonlight, and lighting up its entire perimeter. In turn, row after row of black gun barrels pointed into the woods. At that moment, any unknown person or animal that came charging out would be mercilessly swept by a storm of metal.
