Out in the woods near Camelot, the capital of the Kingdom of Camelot, the Holy Griffin Kingdom, little Annie, the Tohsaka sisters, Illya, and Luvia had spent the day picnicking and goofing off. Amid a chorus of laughter and chatter, they came huffing and puffing out of the woods.
Almost all of them had picked a full basket of wild berries or other treats. Some carried theirs on their arms, while others balanced them on their heads. With their little faces flushed red and covered in sweat, they trudged back to their camp, panting all the way.
"??"
"Annie, these things are so heavy. Why not have your Little Bear come out and help carry them?"
Tired, Rin Tohsaka dropped her basket on the ground, then wiped the sweat-soaked hair from her forehead. After glancing around, her cunning green eyes quickly settled on the toy bear tucked into Annie's waistband.
They could all use magic, but when they went out for fun, they usually weren't allowed to cast spells. Still, having a certain bear grow bigger and help carry things probably wouldn't count.
"You mean my Tibbers?"

"But I sent him off to work somewhere else. He's not here right now!"

Annie's little backpack was full of wild mushrooms, which she had picked earlier while playing with everyone in the woods, beneath shady trees and beside dead logs.
But compared to the heavy wild fruit, her mushrooms were much lighter. And carrying a backpack was far easier and more comfortable than holding a basket. Even so, she would never let the others in on that little secret. She liked watching them huff and puff, helpless to do anything about it.
