Recently, Annie had been spending her days wandering around whenever she wasn't busy eating. On this fascinating Earth, she'd discovered a very interesting place filled with all sorts of interesting residents. Obviously, it could only be Penguin Village!
Everything in that village was peaceful and full of childlike charm. Even the "bad guys" were cute and amusing... The school there didn't have exams, objects had magical lives of their own, and even the animals could talk. The superheroes were all complete idiots, too...
In short, what Annie saw in Penguin Village was completely unlike anywhere else. The villagers lived carefree lives in this dreamlike world, as though nothing from the outside could affect the village at all.
Of course, what surprised Annie most wasn't how strange the village was. It was that she'd met a new friend she thought was incredibly interesting—Arale!
