Annie had spent the last two days playing the Oasis game, doing all sorts of meaningful things in the Pandora instance, and she felt incredibly fulfilled!
For instance, on the first day, she'd been wandering around the woods, which became beautiful at night, like some multicolored underwater world deep beneath the sea. There, she'd encountered and defeated a bad guy riding a banshee—one of those giant pterodactyl-like birds the Na'vi called ikran. She'd taken his weapon and his mount, then used the flying creature to quickly find the base occupied by the fan Alliance and their rather large spaceship!
And then, well, things went about as you'd expect...
When she got close to the base to take a look around, those awful people spotted her. Two annoying guys chased after her, and she ended up having to kill one who looked an awful lot like a certain "dried tofu." The other guy, who'd dared to impersonate "Sister Jeanne," was beaten into a retreat by Annie, then promptly shot full of arrows by the Na'vi. It didn't take much thought to figure he was definitely dead.
After all that fun, she ran far away before the enemy reinforcements arrived. She summoned the pterodactyl-like bird she'd stolen, had it carry her a long way, then found a secluded place to hide. Only after that did she reluctantly disconnect from the neural link and return to the RDA base deep beneath Pandora's ocean.
