During those three days, he hadn't gone anywhere, nor had he returned to the Royal Capital of Re-Estize as quickly as planned to report certain important matters to King Rambo III. Instead, he had stayed right there in E-Rantel to deal with the sudden developments that seemed more urgent to him.
That's right. What he needed to deal with was the "Golden-Brick Gate" incident that had recently become the talk of the town in E-Rantel!
After all, there was no such thing as a wall that couldn't be seen through, and a secret known to more than two people was no longer a secret...
Although the Warrior Captain had tried every possible method to keep the news under wraps, word of the golden brick—supposedly larger than a house—had still spread among certain busybodies with ulterior motives. And the more it spread, the more outrageous and exaggerated it became!
Some even claimed that the brick was almost as large as a small mountain?
So, over the past three days, the sensational news that a huge meteorite had fallen from the sky into E-Rantel—and that it was made entirely of gold—had set the whole town abuzz!
Soon afterward, many people began making their own moves, preparing to sneak a look at the place that Kingdom soldiers had been guarding closely for three days.
Unfortunately, their little schemes were doomed to fail. The Warrior Captain, Gazef Stronoff, had acted quickly, completing the cutting and transport of the golden brick on the second night. Gold was heavy, but it was much softer than steel, so the job was done quickly. They soon lifted the security cordon, leaving the rumors as nothing more than rumors. Without any evidence, there
