The New World Annie had come to was vast. It was a mature planet with a complete universe, and it had a huge, expansive landmass stretching across it. Countless races lived there, including humans, elves, Abhumans, magical beasts, all kinds of monsters, and Undead, each with their own territory and activities.
Besides E-Rantel, where Annie had stayed before, and the Re-Estize Kingdom it belonged to, there was the Slane Theocracy, controlled by religious fanatics who believed in human supremacy and advocated uniting all humans to wipe out every other nonhuman race. East of E-Rantel lay the Baharuth Empire, which invaded the Kingdom year after year. North of the Re-Estize Kingdom was the Argland Council State, while on a peninsula in the Kingdom's far southwestern corner stood the Holy Kingdom, a closed-off nation protected by a massive, unusual wall. Far to the south of this land, where races abounded, lay a vast peninsula of deadly desert. No one knew what was there or what creatures lived in it. It was a death zone, after all; no one liked venturing into such a dry place to explore or investigate.

But the journey was simply too long, and with this world's primitive sailing capabilities and terrible overland routes, no one knew what was happening there. Nor did they want to know!
