Ever since that rather annoying Uncle Gotz had started helping her expand her house at the ranch on the 12th, Annie had been having a very busy six days. Today was the 17th.

Every day, she got up promptly at 6:00 a.m. She had no choice—Uncle Gotz came by to knock on the door at the same time every morning, and he wouldn't even let her sleep for another three or five minutes!

After she opened the door and let him in to start work for the day, she left him to it and wandered up to the mountain. First, she'd spend two hours fooling around in the hot spring with Popuri, Elli, or some other pretty young ladies, like Mary or Karen. After her soak, she'd wander around the mountain, stroll by the lake or around Mineral Town, eat a big meal at Uncle Doug's, drink juice and eat grapes at Duke's, or take a walk through Rose Square or along the beach.

In any case, she always found a way to mix things up, have fun, and pass the time. She didn't amble back until Uncle Gotz finished work promptly at 5:00 p.m.

These past few days, Annie hadn't managed to fish a Kappa out of the lake on the mountain, nor had she summoned that so-called "Goddess" at the Goddess Waterfall beside the hot spring! She had no idea why. Maybe those guys knew something, or perhaps they knew just how powerful Her Majesty Annie was?

At any rate, whenever she was around, even if Popuri or Elli tossed an offering into the pond, they couldn't summon that supposedly amazing creature called the "Goddess"!

Fortunately, Annie didn't care much either way. She hadn't wanted to meet those supernatural beings in the first place!
