It was the ninth day of summer. The weather was lovely, with plenty of clouds.
Today was a day that made Annie happy, because her ranch had finally started bringing in its harvest!
The onions she'd haphazardly planted across a good portion of the fields had yielded a bumper crop, thanks to the diligent little Dwarves who showed up on time every day to water and work. The little Dwarves used magic to harvest the onions, then carried basket after basket over to the shipping bin. The Mineral Town residents who'd come to watch were left in awe.
It was a welcome sight to everyone. After so many years, the biggest ranch in Mineral Town was finally producing crops again.
Of course, Annie was pleased, too! The semi-automatic hot-spring irrigation system—which she'd thought up and Uncle Gotz had built—was also due to be finished today. That meant her unharvested tomatoes, corn, pumpkins, and pineapples would surely yield a good crop as well!
Once the system was up and running, the little Dwarves who came to the ranch every day to draw water from the hot spring with magic and water the crops would have a lot less work. They'd probably only need to tend the crops, pull weeds, and harvest them.
But no matter what changed, one thing definitely wouldn't: Annie, the ranch owner of Mineral Town—or, as some might say, the "slave driver"—wouldn't have a single bit more work to do!
Before, now, and in the future, there were only a few things she needed to do: eat, drink, have fun, play around, and sleep in~!

Summer mountain grapes were sweet and tart, and tasted delicious. In this hot summer weather, nothing was more relaxing than lying in a beach chair beneath a sunshade on
