Early the next morning, a shocking event took place in Magnolia.
The former Fairy Tail guild masters, who had been declared missing—or even presumed to have been wiped out—seven years ago, had actually returned safe and sound!
And that wasn't all. The very next morning, they brazenly declared war on another wizard guild in Magnolia: Twilight Ogre, which had taken advantage of Fairy Tail's decline and used all kinds of underhanded methods to usurp its position in the city.
Ignoring the Magic Council's ban, Fairy Tail's guild masters needed less than three minutes to wipe out Twilight Ogre and forcibly drive every last member of the opposing guild out of Magnolia!
They also seized the other guild's hall and all its assets.
And so, Fairy Tail returned to Magnolia and took up residence once more, making such a spectacular comeback that everyone was left dumbfounded. They also announced that they held absolute "sovereignty" over the city!
