This time, Toriko and the others were after a gourmet creature known as the Regal Mammoth.
They lived in the International Gourmet Organization's First Biological District. It was a magical island where gourmet research flourished, a popular tourist destination, and, supposedly, a place where new gourmet creatures and plants could come into being. People around the world generally called it the Gourmet Garden.

Surrounded by mountains, the island had been stocked with countless modified and cloned species for research. Over the years, a new ecosystem had taken shape there, and in some areas, terrifying gourmet creatures had grown so powerful that even the IGO's forces couldn't suppress them!
So, to ensure a successful hunt for the Regal Mammoth, the IGO had no choice but to send people and a plane all the way to a small seaside town and bring back Toriko, the famous gourmet hunter and one of the Four Heavenly Kings of Gourmet, who had just finished hunting a Puffer Whale.
That's right—"back," because this wasn't the first time gourmet hunter Toriko had visited the First Biological District. For him, returning here was just like coming home.
Since the island itself was so large, it was no surprise that the research facility in the First Biological District was enormous. It looked like a gigantic
