After learning how urgent things were—and that some guys calling themselves the Gourmet Corps might beat them to their target—Annie finally decided to set out early.
She didn't wait for Uncle Toriko and those other troublesome idiots. Instead, she went alone, eagerly venturing deep into the plateau to search for the legendary Regal Mammoth and its incredibly delicious Jewel Meat.
Before long, without much effort at all, she spotted the Regal Mammoth in a stretch of the plateau while Uncle Toriko and the others were still on their way. She easily landed on its enormous head, which was as big as a mountaintop.
Annie was certain that the six-legged elephant before her was undoubtedly the mother mammoth Uncle Toriko and the others were looking for!
It looked exactly like the baby elephant they had captured earlier, which weighed at least a thousand tons. The only difference was that this mother elephant was over 1,500 meters long and nearly 1,000 meters tall, and weighed at least tens of millions of tons. It was practically no different from a mountain that could move on its own.
So now Annie was fretting over how she could deal with the gigantic, terrifying beast before her, which was about as big as a giant Zerg Bio-ship Leviathan.
Of course, "terrifying" was a relative term. To Annie, it wasn't scary at all—just a little troublesome.
